CYNDIE
SINGER
Cyndie (Full name: Cyndie-Tanya Ojinjintka Amaya SANTIAGO) is a Pop and R&B singer, songwriter, actress, biochemist, and businesswoman. Born and raised in Harlem, New York, she comes from a rich cultural background, with an Afro-Puerto Rican father and an Indigenous American mother. She is also the cousin of rapper Ashrah and singer Tracy.
Cyndie began her career in the music industry as a songwriter, penning tracks for major artists such as Rihanna, Madonna, and Ariana Grande before stepping into the spotlight herself.
She released her debut single "Thunder & Lightning" in October 2019, followed by "Freak" in December of the same year — the lead single from her first studio album, Unapologetic, which dropped on January 7, 2020. The album was a critical and commercial success, marking her as a powerful new voice in pop and R&B.
In December 2020, Cyndie released her ambitious second project, a double album titled Tanya & Cyndishka, showcasing the duality of her personality and artistry — one side raw and emotional, the other bold and experimental.
Her third studio album, Armageddon, followed, blending English and Spanish influences. The album featured high-profile collaborations with Nicki Minaj, Shenseea, and Marrs, further cementing her place as a genre-bending, boundary-pushing artist.
In 2023, she dropped her fourth album, 777, which included standout singles like "Bored" and "Wait in the Benz". Like its predecessors, 777 received widespread acclaim and commercial success.
Now, fans eagerly await her fifth studio album, set for release in 2025. The lead single, "Xylophone," has already been announced, promising yet another evolution in her sound and vision.
Each of Cyndie's albums has been both a sonic journey and a statement of identity — a fearless discography that continues to expand with every new chapter.
